Jet2.com opened its new £9.5 million state-of-the-art Training Centre,

The 32,232 sq ft facility, based on Bradford’s Euroway Industrial Estate, is a first for Yorkshire and the only one in the North which has been specifically designed as a fully integrated Simulator and Cabin Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) training centre for both flight deck and cabin crew.

RA Real Estate acquired the 32,000 sq ft warehouse on the 1.53 acre site at Euroway Trading Estate in 2013 and then secured the necessary planning approvals to allow the conversion of the warehouse into a training facility.

Housing three flight simulators, unique cabin crew trainer units, a high-tech Computer Based Training (CBT) room for pilots and fully equipped classrooms and briefing rooms, Jet2.com has created a centre of excellence.

It provides an unrivalled quality of training for both new recruits and the airline’s existing 579 pilots, 24 pilot apprentices and 960 cabin crew.
