Moving more than 250 people to a new office across Manchester gave Irwin Mitchell the chance to enhance its reputation as the region’s leading provider of personal and business legal services.
RA Real Estate assisted them throughout the entire process including working with TSK Group in the Workplace Consultancy phase of the project. Irwin Mitchell allowed full access to not only their Manchester staff but also to the wider Executive management team of the organisation
For the transformation to succeed, we had to gain an understanding about how people worked, and how their office needed to work for them and challenges they faced. Solutions were then incorporated within the design.
While ‘Agile Working’ means different things to different companies, for Irwin Mitchell it was about having a flexible environment that offers their employees a choice. Whether its work, meet formally or informally, collaborate, or dedicated rooms with technology the project was underpinned by focused desk based working with retreat space. The completed project provided all of the employees with a range of work place settings and a superb break out area overlooking St Peters Square.
