RA Real Estate acting on behalf of Mazars have acquired over 14,000 sq ft on the 5th floor of No 3 Wellington Place, Leeds
The firm has confirmed it will move its 130 employees in Leeds into the newly built 3 Wellington Place in the city centre, as of November, after an extensive £1.2 million fit-out. Mazars, which has been based on Geldard Road in Gildersome for around 20 years, has leased the building on a 15-year term, with a 10 year break clause, from MEPC, while the consultancy has confirmed that the move will allow all employees to work in one purpose-designed, modern space; across 14,000 sq ft of office space on the fifth floor.
The move will position Mazars well to implement its plans for future growth in the region, according to its Leeds office Managing Partner. Oliver Hoffman confirmed that the move sets Mazars up to build on the office’s previous development from 30 to 130 people, supporting growth in fee income to over £11 million.
